Did anyone catch those best of the year fights on HBO Boxing a couple of weeks ago? Weren't they great? Does HBO do that every year or was this the first year for that. I want to know because next year I am going to record it all and throw an all-night party and show the best ones. If somebody says they don't like boxing, they have never seen HBO boxing. The fights are fantastic. Okay, its not Rocky usually, but it is real and that makes it better. HBO boxing is my favorite channel. I like their commentators better than anybodies. I especially like Jim Lapley. I also think that Emanuel Steward is good too, mostly because I think he has good training input from he own experiences. In case you didn't know, he trained Sugar Ray and Oscar de la Hoya to name a few champions. He also won for himself the National Golden Gloves Tournament at age 18 in 1963. HBO Boxing knows who to bring in to make it fun and exciting. I can't wait for the Tito verses Jones bout.
