I had the enjoyable experience of watching for the first time a competition show called American Gladiators, tonight. I was surprised to see boxing news worthy star Laila Ali as one of the hosts. The other host is wrestling great Hulk Hogan. What a great idea to combine a female boxing news champion with a male wrestling champion. It was very entertaining to see these two cohost this event and they certainly showed that they have commentary talents and were able to make the crowd cheer wildly with anticipation as each event was played out. Boxing news should include the extra curricular activities of boxing stars and boxing monthly reports should encourage and applaud their abilities to be diversified. Female boxing news does not really seem to stand out in monthly boxing reports but it is my opinion that the stars of this sport should be followed a little more closely. Wouldn't it be interesting to see an HBO boxing biography featuring one of its most prominent female stars displaying all talents including the boxing news worthy stories that they create.
