If you have ever played Nintendo's Wii console then you know that it demands a more interactive approach then gaming on other consoles. Their flagship game that I think comes with every system is Wii Sports. Within that game there is a boxing game where players have to actually throw punches, move around and put up their hands to block. This interactive approach may not have made official boxing news but many people at first thought prolonged game play of this game was equivalent to actually working out.
A study conducted by the Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia tested players who played Wii Boxing for 30 minutes and then compared it to normal exercise. It was found that Wii Boxing is no substitute to real exercise so if someone says that playing the game is just as good as real exercise use this boxing news. There is a game called Wii Fit that was designed to be used as a workout. This has been today's boxing news. Wii Boxing is still fun though but it's no substitute for actual boxing training.
